one think, when everything matches the search in the results, it doesn't show it in the color - see attached
The exe became BOLD so he lost the color

I have a problem with ondrive, maybe it's had to do with Everything,
lately happened to me a few time's, files i saved on the desktop (syinc. on onedrive!) and then moved to another folder, after a few months, i see them back on the desktop (and also on the other oocation!)
I realized now it ...

I have now the same problem, with version 1.5.0.1355a - it's start downloading every results I search for, for any type of files (even after removing the index properties option, and for sure, there is no content indexing rule for this files).
Anyone with same problem?
Any solution?

Thanks, Issue fixed,
was able to bring back my old INI file, and everything works perfect!

I had such a file.
now, after deleting the INI i used till now, and trying to recover the setting i was used, it worked. BUT right, it's because I didn't reimport the file_list

the program is using a lot of CPU, and not saving the DB (maybe is trying to save and not able to finish?) - someone else with that issue ?

I don't have any problem! almost all my doc & pic are in OneDrive and works fine.

The zero results, is because it was write wrong! there is not BMV in the file name!

Related to this topic, just find it out this week,
I wanted to find big files I don't need them on my local drive, by searching for big size I got also all the files stored in the cloud,
this search was wonderful:

Right, was my mistake. I added a file to a folder that I exclude from be indexed.

Hi,
By adding new file to a folder that is included to be Content Indexed, the file is not added to the index automatically.
Do I need to Force Rebuild to update the Content Indexing?

If I continue using the content indexing, the it happens again the problem is
only by disabling it it works.
(btw, last week the db was around 100 mb, now it is 230 ! didn't added files on the indexed folder!)

Hi, I changed the dpi size for everything, and it stopped working, even by restarting windows i got this msg

As of now, JumpToFolder doesn't work with Everything 1.5a. see here

JumpToFolder doesn't work with Everything 1.5a, even when the settings are set to the correct exe file. By clicking on the desired file/folder it just open it on a new explorer window.

Please consider adding more filters for which files are content indexed.

For example, limit the content to a specific folder, set file types and size limit:

In Everything , from the Tools menu, click Options .
Click the Content tab on the left.
Set include only folders to a semicolon ...

Is it possible to use a filter for separate EXT depend on folder?
For example: from folder: c:/user/files - index pdf and doc;
and from folder: c:/user/otherfiles - index only doc

I used it for a folder with a lot of pdf files, I want to have searchable - filter will not help me in this situation, since I already choose the specific folder. as of your information I know now it's not the right tool to use for it.
I will back out of that, and use content indexing only for DOC ...

he finished to index, it worked well.
but, now, everything is using 1350 mb of RAM when he is running ... - as all the db works on memory.

BTW, on Option/Content it sow exactly on which file he work's now, and you can check if he is stock or working.

I added a 20 GB folder for content indexing, the indexing prosses is stock for the last 3 hours at: indexing properties 77%
