Nothing Seen In Filtered Mode

Nothing Seen In Filtered Mode - sometimes.


For some time now, thinking 1.3 series in general, when I open Everything, with a Filter in effect, with no search term, no results display.

I change the filter from, say, Video, to Everything, then back to Video, & all displays & works fine, thereafter. Until the next time I open up Everything & the same occurs - though I don't think it occurs every time.

I figure, a fluke.

I've always thought of this as an annoyance, so never really paid much attention, as it only took a click or two to get things right.

Though with .677b, this changed.

Changing the Filter to something else, then back again, still returned no results. Seems Everything (Filter) worked, but others may or may not have worked. Seems messing around, changing Filters, back & forth, I may or may not have gotten results.

And at this point, I'm not sure if the Filtered results being returned, when "working", are accurate (with .677b)? (Pretty sure I was [last] with .671b, & up to that point, while the issue was still there, it was still only the annoyance, fluke.)


Two (Windows) User accounts.
I'm thinking this only has happened on the second (though not certain).
Second account is opened, with its own .db & .ini.

.ini's are essentially the same (text size, column widths...[do differ]) , though different.
Only items that stand out, to me, are editor_*; with values in 2nd user, all '0' in 1st, & ntfs_volume_*; paths="A:","B:","C:","E:","H:","T:","M:","X:","I:" in 2nd user, paths="A:","B:","C:","E:" in 1st, & likewise with the rest of the ntfs_volume_ showing either 9 or 4 entries (A-I vs A-E).

I'm using the service.
