What is the Total memory usage for Everything listed under processes in RamMap?

I can not control what Windows caches.
Windows will return cache in ram to the system as it is needed.

Windows chooses to cache whatever it wants to. You've shown memory is in use, but not what's using it, you didn't answer the question asked.

Everything is using around 30MB RAM on my PC, see attachment.

From the second picture, it does look like its not related to windows cache and the memory is actually in use.

I would need to see the Everything debug log and the total memory usage for Everything listed under processes in RamMap to be able to help.

Opening a very large efu file while Everything also has the local database loaded will consume larges amounts of ram.

Exiting Everything completely before opening a large efu will allow Everything to close the local database and open just the efu file list.
Closing the file list from File -> Close File List will reload the local database when needed.

I am looking into compression of the Everything database in memory, but it would come at the cost of increased CPU usage.
Splitting the efu up into smaller files may also help.
