Everything Keeps Handle Open to Drive - Safely Remove

On an external (USB attached) HDD (not a Flash drive), it looks like Everything is keeping a handle open on the drive, such that Safely Remove will not "work" (give its' OK)?

(Not sure, but kind of looks that way. Exit Everything, then Safely Remove works.)

I have noticed that sometimes "Everything" does not receive all device notifications...

I have added 'review device notifications' to my "Things to do" list.

Are you able to reproduce the problem?
Does "Everything" receive any device notifications (please check with the debug console)?

Confirmed, there does seem to be an issue with the alpha... I will look into it..

I have re-written USN Journal monitoring.

It should fix "Everything" holding handles to volumes.

To try it, please replace your Everything.exe with:
