Organize Search History

Post by void »

With Everything 1.4 you can now browse and edit your entire search history (if enabled).

To enable Search History:
  • In "Everything", from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the History tab.
  • Check Enable search history.
  • Click OK.
To browse and edit your Search History:
  • In "Everything", from the View menu, from the Goto menu, click Show All History.

A very good thing. Suggests even add the number of items in the history list.

That's not what I meant, I'm talking about the total count in the History list - when you open in notepad Search History.csv you'll see, for example, 200 lines.

And I think it was useful in Organize Search History.

Additionally, the tooltip for not coming within names.

Setting the focus on the history list after removing the items from the list by pressing the "delete" on the right.

Additionally, the tooltip for not coming within names.
Do you mean show the tooltip of the full name or search when it partially hidden?

Use the delete key when the history list has focus.

I would move this option somewhere else, I feel like the option is too hidden.

Thanks!
