High CPU usage on newest version

I just updated to version 432 and it is setting at around 75% CPU usage constantly on a P4 2.8 GHZ single core processor. It fluctuates to anywhere from 70% to 81% CPU usage and stay in that range. Any idea what could be causing that? The last version was hardly noticeable. I have to disable it until there is some sort of fix as I can't use anything else without massive slowdown.

I haven't necessarily looked for nor observed CPU usage of Everything before this was brought up, but I am not seeing anything out of the ordinary on my end.

AMD Sempron 3000 (an old, single core CPU), 448 KB mem, 60 GB HDD (3 partitions), Everything .432.

Maybe if other post their specs (CPU) & perhaps any non-default settings - like cache sizes, load & read priorities ...

The only thing I can add is I have 2 GB memory for that isn't the problem. Apparently something was changed in this last version to cause whatever is happening.

re-re-wrote the USN Journal monitors.

The high CPU usage should be fixed in:

If you notice any USN Journal monitoring errors in the debug console please let me know the error codes.
The following errors can occur:

• DeviceIoControl failed %08x, retrying in 30 seconds...
• GetOverlappedResult failed %08x, retrying in 30 seconds...
