getting txt files to open in a different program instead of notepad.

i use notepad++ to open txt files, and some other types.
is there a way to get everything to open notepad++ instead of notepad?

Everything should open files the same way Windows Explorer opens a file. Is Everything not opening txt files with Notepad++?

Try changing the association of a file:

• Right click the file you wish to open with Notepad++ and click Properties.
• Under the General tab, click Change...
• Select Notepad++ and click OK.
• Click OK.
