Files newer than October 10th excluded in Everything

Post by Alduin's Khajiit »

ALL files that have a 'Date Modified' attribute of any date past October 10th, 2016 does not show up in Everything no matter what folder I search! in my PNG templates folder on my External Hard Drive for Photoshop stuff, the themplates folder is divided into MANY subfolders, I added MANY new files into these subfolders I created myself since October 10th but NONE of them show up in Everything! When I right click the folder and click 'Search Everything' and then sort by date, the latest files that show are Modified October 10th. NOTHING newer shows up despite I can go into my 'Moltres' subfolder and find at least three files with a Date Modified of October 13th that DO NOT show up in Everything! I tried to "Force Rebuilt" but these newer files are STILL being omitted by Everything.

This is an External Drive with the problem and these PNG files are not system files as Google suggests, but ALL files on ALL drives have this problem!

Any ideas??

Could you please send some debug output about your Everything installation:
  • In Everything, press Ctrl + `
  • What is displayed at the top of the debug console?
A couple of things to try:

Please remove any offline volumes from the index:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the NTFS tab.
  • Check auto remove offline volumes.
  • For each NTFS volume
    • Click Remove (if possible)
  • Click OK.
Try rebuilding your Everything.db, force rebuild maybe using existing indexes:
  • Completely exit Everything (right click your Everything system tray icon and click Exit)
  • Open your %LOCALAPPDATA%\Everything folder and delete your Everything.db file.
  • Restart Everything.
