Search in external harddrive

Everything is a great tool. Thanks.

My question: Is it possible to search in an external harddrive, when it has been indexed, but the external harddrive isn't connected yet.

Or is it possible to create an extra database of an external harddrive, where i can search in, when the harddrive isn't connected with the pc.

(Sorry for my English).

Hi, I hate to ask about it... but will this feature be included in the next release? (and if you have any sort of estimate, when will that be? in a few weeks, months or years?)

I second the external drive feature. It would be a life saver to be able to search a disconnected drive.

I am working on custom file lists now, which should be available in the next alpha.
Unfortunately, I can not give an estimate on when this will be available.

Sounds great, thanks for letting us now.

Am hoping it'll work on networked shares, as well as external / NTFS drives. In my case, I've moved my music to a NAS, and access it using a mapped drive - the contents don't change, so it would be great to be able to index it via Everything.
