How do I set the FONT used in the PREVIEW pane?

Post by schuc »

Everything version: 1.4.1.877 x64

I just updated to the latest and went through the options and I do not see where I can adjust the font being used...and more importantly, the SIZE of the font. The preview font size is much larger than the search result font size and not a lot of the preview contents are visible as a result.

Thank you

Don't know about Everything's preview (never used it), but if it's based on Windows preview (which I expect), the font type and font size for textfiles are the one Notepad is using. Change it in Notepad and it will change in Everything.

Hi there NotNull

Thanks for your reply and yes, you are correct. It is mirroring the notepad setting. Personally, I'd like the notepad font settings and Everything's preview font settings to be different but maybe that's just me...Dunno.

So I guess my request is to add a 'Preview' font option in Options->Fonts and Colors to override this default.

Thanks

I am planning on implementing my own text preview handler for Everything.

With customizable font and colors.

Text/Hex, to handle any or all file types. That would be great :-).
(Preview: Hex/Text Viewer for Undefined File Types)
