Hi Void -
Tried to preview pdf files with 1.4.1.885. Everything hangs (not a cpu loop); After canceling & restarting, Search options have been changed from Match Path to Match Case ! Have a debug file, if you want it.

Is this a new issue for you with Everything 885?
Was this an issue with Everything 1.4.1.877?
878 or later did change the preview instance to run in a separate process to fix a double click issue:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6247.
877 or earlier ran the preview in the same process as Everything.exe.
I haven't fully tested the preview handler in 878 or later yet.

Fails in 877 too, except it does not change search to match case.
FWIW, the registry on my Windows 7 machine for .pdf has had many changes to it, with different version of Acrobat & Adobe reader being installed
and uninstalled, so it might be different then the code expects.
