Hi,
when I search for someting and open one of the results, the search-window hides. When I open it again from the systray, my search term is deleted. Is there a trick to keep the search string?
Greetings and many thanks to this GREAT piece of software

How to keep the search term after unhiding the search windows from systray?
Re: How to keep the search term after unhiding the search windows from systray?
If you want to disable the functionality of auto-closing on opening one of the result.
Tools->Options->Results->
Pls Uncheck "Close Window on Execute"
Copied from @void's postWhen I open it again from the systray, my search term is deleted. Is there a trick to keep the search string?
To make Everything remember your last search:
- In Everything, from Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Home tab.
- Change Search to: Use last value.
- Click OK.

Thanks for your reply.
Sorry, but I didn't mentioned, that I use an individual search string for every search (see attachment). When I use your solution, I cannot use my default filter together with your solution:
(!lnk !sync.ffs_lock !"Run History.csv" !P:\PA\ !P:\$RECYCLE.BIN !P:\found. !desktop.ini)
Is it possible to use such a filter nonetheless?

I guess you are excluding some files (for each search?). If so, can't we add these exclusions in
Tools->Options->Indexes->Exclude->Exclude Files
Tools->Options->Indexes->Exclude->Exclude Files

"Close on execute" will close the search window after opening a result.
When you close and reopen a search window the search is reset to your home setting.
There is an option to hide on close, which does not completely close the search window, only hides it.
To enable hide on close:
