bug with "Date Modified" in Windows 7

Post by yinzhili »

I'm using Windows 7(Simplified Chinese) and I found it seems that the weekday part of the "Date Modified" cannot be displayed correctly.

The problem is caused by "Everything" rendering the date/time format with ASCII characters only.
"Everything" will not display unicode characters correctly in the data/time format.

The issue has been fixed for the next release of "Everything".

You can change your date/time format to use only ASCII characters.

To change your date/time format:
  • From the Start, Settings menu, click Control Panel.
  • Click Regional and Language Options.
  • Click Customize....
  • Click The Time tab.
  • Make sure AM symbol and PM symbol uses ASCII characters only.
For the ASCII character set, please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASCII.

Thank you for the reply.
But anyway it doesn't matter now because I changed the language settings.
Looking forward to the next release.
