Keyboard shortcut for results of "previous search"?

Is there a hotkey or command to list the results of the previous search?

At the moment, to do this I have to display the search history and then select the previous search.

It would be much more effective if I could use a key combination such as "ALT plus LEFT ARROW" to view the previous results. And to keep going back again, as necessary.

I probably don't understand, but that's the current default setting: Alt-left = back; Alt-right = forward.

What keyboard shortcuts do you see for Back and Forard? (under Menu:View > Go To)

I was trying that keyboard combinations (ALT + LEFT) when the focus was on the results list.

From your post, I see I can use ALT + LEFT provided the focus is in the search bar. Thank you.

Can I make that keyboard shortcut also work when the result list is focused?

Please try making your back/forward commands global keys:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Keyboard tab on the left.
• To the right of Show commands containing, type in:
  back
• Select View | Go To | Back.
• Select Alt + Left.
• Click Edit.
• Change Use shortcut in to Global.
• Click OK.

• Select View | Go To | Forward.
• Select Alt + Right.
• Click Edit.
• Change Use shortcut in to Global.
• Click OK.
• Click OK.

Side note for other users: Search History needs to be enabled for navigation history (Tools -> Options -> History -> Enable Search History)
