Font used on Everything Forum

Post by bacounsel »

I sort of like the look of the font used on the Forum. May I ask what font it is? Thanks.

Verdana (the default font).
Trebuchet MS is used for the headers.

I displayed some textual passage with the Verdana typeface in my word processor. It happens that the font appearance did not resemble that which was displayed on the Everything Forum. Of interest, the "l" letter on your forum displays a straight vertical line with a little curve to the right at the lower end. On my word processor, however, the letter consists merely in a vertical line without the little curve. Kindly confirm if it is actually Verdana as you said. Or could it be a variant of Verdana under another font name? Thank you.

In the page source (& not that I know what it means):

Code: Select all

<div class="content">Verdana (the default font).<br />Trebuchet MS is used for the headers.</div>
Though suppose browser, browser version, & settings would affect what you see too.

It's been a while, I don't know if you are still interested on this but.

The CSS info says this are the formats that could adopt ordered by preference (depending on th availability on your system).
"Lucida Grande", "Trebuchet MS", "Verdana", "Helvetica", "Arial", sans-serif;
