Display bytes in Size column?

Is there a way to display file size in bytes from 1 to 1023 bytes in the Size column?

I work with a lot of files that are either 30 or 31 bytes, and I would like to be able to identify them at a glance without special filtering.

The current behavior seems to be a lower bounds of KB, such as "1 KB" for files that are 1 through 2047 bytes, or "0 KB" if empty.

My settings preference for "General -> View -> Size format:" is set to KB, as it's generally easier for me to read file size magnitude based on the character column width, but I would like there to be an exception for tiny files.
