How to remember last search

Is there a way for 'Everything' to remember the last search?

Let's say I searched "the kingdom" and the next day I opened up 'everything' it resets to blank, I want the window to remember my last search

To remember the last search:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Home tab on the left.
• Change Search to: Use last value.
• Click OK.

To remember all searches:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the History tab on the left.
• Check Enable search history.
• Click OK.

A search is added to your search history when you perform one of the following:

• Press ENTER from the search box.
• Perform an action on a result.
