In Everything(v1.2.1.451a), to quit the application,I must press twice the ESC key on my keyboard,
it seems something is wrong with it, only one press of the ESC would do the job before.

File.CancelActionOrClose is mapped to ESC.
ESC ESC appears to close. It looks like it closes the GUI, but still leaves a Process running?
File Close, would close Everything into the System Tray. From there, a right+click, Exit would exit Everything. (That is the way it has always worked for me, though see below.) But after you ESC ESC there is no way to "exit" except to kill the Processes?
I'm confused now? Can't say I recall any problems before, but now I'm not sure what's going on? Not exactly sure where it's going? File Close doesn't seem to be closing it (to the Tray)? [Running W7 now. Otherwise I'd be on XP. Can't say I recall anything like this before now on either OS? Not in a position to reboot. Could be some other application interfering?]

Corrupt .db perhaps?
Whatever happened, it got to a point where I would open Everything, it would remain for a moment, & the next time I looked - poof, gone. Not visible anywhere except in Task Manager as a process. And I'd open again only for the same to happen. Each time adding an Everything process.
Moved everything out of the Everything directory, copied Everything.exe in again, fresh. Ran Everything. .db created/updated (taking a few moments compared to the spit second opening just before). Looks to be working again as expected. Icon in the System Tray & all that. Exiting does actually exit now. Copied (old) Errorlog.txt & current (from the "bad" Everything) Search/RunHistory.xml back into the Everything directory, & I look to be back in business.
(Restarting the computer made no difference. Uninstalling Malwarebytes Anti-malware <which I had just installed today> made no difference.)
