Crash after sleep/hibernation

Hello,

noticed Everything disappears after my system resumes from sleep (S3) or hibernation (S4). I am running it as admin if it matters and I am NOT using the service function. Any ideas?

My system info:

Windows 10 Home
Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041

Hard to say what the issue might be. I would need to see more debug information.
My guess is Everything is crashing while trying to access a volume that has not completely awake?

Could you please send the logs after waking the PC from sleep/hibernate?

• Make sure Everything is not running
• Start Everything in verbose debug mode:
• Everything.exe -debug -verbose
• Put your PC to sleep/hibernate
• Wake your PC.
• Please send your %TEMP%\Everything Debug Log.txt

Please try disabling the index of your C: drive from Tools -> Options -> NTFS -> C: -> Uncheck Include in database and see if that helps.
Please try the same with your D: drive.

OK, I worked out the cause, it was the Task Scheduler's power conditions.

The option to stop the task when power was switched killed the app. I had assumed, based on the UI setup, that since the higher level option (Start) was off, the Stop option being grayed out was not applicable. Alas it was not the case. I had to enable Start option, disable the Stop option and then disable the Start option again!
