[Solved] 1255 - column sizing issues

Post by w64bit »

Issues in 1255:
1. if I resize a column width in search list and open the program again, the column width is reverted to the previous ini value (change is not saved).
2. if I set up the columns widths on a computer with 100% DPI scaling and use the same ini on a computer with 125% DPI scaling, last_write_time_column_width value has to be changed in order to accommodate the same text (all other columns are OK)

Not confirmed here.
For me the change is saved and correctly restored.

Without looking (yet), I'll confirm the issue - with your .ini.
everything -instance 1.5a -read-only

No result returned for:

Code: Select all

/name_column_width
/name_column_width=180
(Not in my regular instance either. So maybe the variable name changed?)

When I set Home to 'Restore Defaults', at that point the column width was then saved.
Appears it's going to have to do with the Columns: setting in Home.
Seems that setting it to, Name;Path;Size;... causes particular settings to be locked?

Appears it's going to have to do with the
Columns:
setting in Home.
That.
