Create a file A. Then A appears in Everything window.
Create a hardlink of A, named B.
Delete A. But A doesn't disappear.
Delete B. A still exists in Everything window.
Bug with hardlink
Re: Bug with hardlink
(Only guessing...)
I guess that's kind of an anomaly.
Note that both A & B are never seen (together).
Only one or the other, & which one is non-determinable (AFAIK).
(That is to be expected.)
So if you delete one or the other, it's twin still remains & Everything would have to then re-reference it by it's renaming name rather then what it had referenced it as before. And suppose it has no method to do that automatically?
After exiting Everything (completely), deleting its' *.db, then restarting, it would then reflect the change.
Not sure if there is a method to purge things otherwise?
