On/off toggle for folders in extra list in settings

Everything's Settings permits extra folders to be included in the search. I have several folders listed there.

However it is sometimes useful not to include certain folders in a search. After removing a folder, it can be slow work to find it again using "add..." to restore one that was removed.

I would like to suggest something like an an on/off toggle or checkbox to enable and disable a particular folder in this list.

It's just a suggestion that would be useful!

This is what Omit Results is designed to do:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab on the left.
• Click Add....
• Select your extra folder (eg: E:) and click OK.
• Click OK.
• From the Index menu, check Enable Omit Results.
• From the Index menu, check Organize Result Omissions.
• Click Add folder....
• Select your extra folder (eg: E:) and click OK.
• Note the checkbox next to E:
• You can quickly toggle the omission of your E: drive (no rebuild is required)
• Click OK.
  ---Your extra folder (eg: E:) will now be omitted from your results---

Result omissions can be toggled from the Index menu -> Enable Omit Results.

Toggling Omit Results does not rebuild your indexes.

I will consider check boxes for your folder indexes under Tools -> Options -> Folders.

@Void Thank you for the info.

I can not find "Enable Omit Results" nor "Organize Result Omissions".

My Everything shows "exclude" in the Indexes menu not "omit". This is on 1.5.0.1312a (x86).

Can you please advise.
