CaSe SeNSItive SEARCHES

All searches that I am doing are CASE SENSITIVE by default, i.e.
If I search for '.zip' -, Everything will find me all the .zip files on my media
BUT:
it will not find all my .ZIP files, nor .Zip, .zIP, etc..
Is there an option that would allow finding files, without being case sensitive?

One more question:
If I want my files sorted at all times, for example: by Type, how can Everything search files, without changing its sort criteria back to 'by Name' each time i type a letter into the Search Field ?

From the Search menu, make sure Match Case is unchecked.

Unfortunately, Everything does not keep the sort order between searches for performance reasons.

You can bookmark a search and sort order with Everything 1.3.0.629b or later.
