Getting error when using the ES Cli tool

Error 8: Everything IPC window not found. Please make sure Everything is running.

I've tried powershell and CMD. strange I was using this just fine a few weeks go.

I searched online but did not find any solutions, anyone familiar with this? Thanks.

Please make sure Everything is running in the background.

If you are using the Everything 1.5 alpha, please use the 1.5a instance:

es.exe -instance 1.5a

-or-

disable the 1.5a instance

Hey Void, the above worked. but I think I will just disable the 1.5 instance.
