F3 key not working in version 1.5

In version 1.4 when I was pressing the F3 key I was able to focus and highlight the search edit (see the page https://www.voidtools.com/support/every ... shortcuts/). This a very useful feature.

In version 1.5 this is not working anymore. Just select a file in the result area and press F3. Nothing happens, you have to use the mouse or keyboard to get the same result.

Is it a new option available?

It seems it was replaced by the F6 key.

In Everything 1.5, F3 will eventually show the Find Bar.

I am working on this right now.



If you would like F3 to focus the search box:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Keyboard tab on the left.
• To the right of show commands containing, search for: focus search
• Select Search Edit | Focus Search Edit.
• Click Add....
• Press F3 and click OK.
• Click OK.

F6 will focus the next major control frame.
