Is it possible to have at startup and when the search bar is empty no results displayed?
Thank you

Please enable "Hide results when the search is empty":
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Results tab on the left.
- Check "Hide results when the search is empty".
- Click OK.
You can control your "home" search from Tools -> Options -> Home -> Search

A seemingly popular "Home" search query is the term, root:, which shows you the list of loaded volumes (ie, drive letters).
