Bug in help text: Full row select

Post by Raindrops »

On this page, the following text is provided:
Everything 1.5 enables full row select by default, to disable full row select:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
Click the Results tab on the left.
Uncheck Full row select.
Click OK.
There are two problems here:
1. in line#2, it says "type the following search" but the next line does not provide the string to be entered.
2. In line#3, it says "click Results tab on left". But the GUI has no tabs at all, in any direction (left, right, top...)

IMHO this text can be replaced with:
1. Use the Tools > Options menu. The Everything Options window pops up.
2. In the left panel, select the Results node (listed under the General node).
3. Unselect the Full row select checkbox.
4. Press OK to save the settings and exit.

Thanks for the typo report.

Update to:

Everything 1.5 enables full row select by default, to disable full row select:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Results tab on the left.
  • Uncheck Full row select.
  • Click OK.
