display issues with Everything

very happy to join the forum

I have installed Everything which is very good, but I have a problem with the display.

In the "display" tab, there is a menu at the bottom called "foreground" and there, we are offered: never, always or during the search.

When I select "never", after each start of the PC, Everything remains in the state of a flashing icon in the taskbar when I launch it. I have to click on this icon to display the program.

When I select "always" and I ask to open "the path of the file or folder I am looking for, Everything blocks all other windows. Can't even display the explorer folder.

When I select "during search", it's the same.

Please, help me. Thanks a lot

Please try enabling set_foreground_window_attach_thread_input:

• Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
  /set_foreground_window_attach_thread_input=1
• Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
• If successful, set_foreground_window_attach_thread_input=1 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.

Everything should now gain focus correctly.
