Currently, middle clicking on the everything tray icon does nothing

Re: Middle clicking tray icon for a New Search Window ?
For now:
You can configure a single-click on the system tray icon to open a new serach window with the Single click tray setting.
This setting can be found under menu:Tools => Options => General => UI.

To open a new window when pressing the middle mouse button on the Everything taskbar icon:
To open a new window with a left-click on the Everything tray icon:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the UI tab on the left.
- Check Create a new window when running Everything.
- Click OK.

The next alpha update will show a new window with a mouse click on the tray icon.

Thanks,
I didn't know about the middle mouse button trick for taskbar
That is great because apps like calc and putty, I didn't like to right click then click app name !
It now works with everything when I already have a window open (however my muscle memory is always to go for the tray icon)
