Local/quick indexing of network folder

Hello,

I use Everything a lot, often not to look for something random on my drive but to select files in a folder, rename them, create an archive based on a filter, do a "smart copy", copy the path with forward slashes for python, etc.

These are operations that only require to index the current working folder (and typically not very deep).

I sometimes work on samba network shares that are too large to index and keep up to date.
But indexing 1 folder (a working folder) should be quick even for network shares.The index would not really need to be kept up to date (update could be manual).

Question: is there a way to ask everything to index just one network folder?
Something interactive (=quick) without adding it as a network share and then updating it, and then removing it.
I have been using the 1.5 version for a while.

Currently, you'll need to add the network folder as a folder index under Tools -> Options -> Folders.
You can uncheck "subfolders" to index just the one folder.

Unfortunately, adding and removing a folder index will require a quick rebuild.



I do have plans to add support for indexing folders without the rebuild in a future version.
