Using Filter and Search Edit drop down menus resets the view to left edge [SOLVED]

If a user's horizontal data exceeds width of a single screen and user exercises scrolling the view to right side in order to see some content - and then if such person picks anything from the drop-down menu of either Filter or Search Edit: then what happens?

The scrolled view gets reset to the left edge of columns

This is both counterproductive and very annoying

To prevent Everything from resetting your horizontal scroll on search:

• In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Advanced tab on the left.
• To the right of Show settings containing, search for:
  reset
• Select reset_hscroll_on_search.
• Set the value to: false
• Click OK.
