Usage of Spotlight Index

Would it be possible to use an Index from a remote Spotlight Server?
Background: I have a Linux-Samba-Server, which could be a Spotlight-Server (with elasticsearch backend). Would be great to use his Index in Everything, so it has not to index the NetworkShare itself

In Samba Suite there exists a tool named 'mdsearch' - maybe there can be seen the 'protocol' of Spotlight-Queries
