Today I added to everything a few FAT drives in my slave disk on XP SP 3 and incidentally added a drive which I had changed to NTFS. The result is the search is yielding 2 exact results.
Suggestions on which additions can be prevented:
1. A drive already indexed in NTFS.
2. A drive/folder already added earlier thru Indexes > folders.
3. A folder/sub folder of a drive/ folder already included.
Logically it may be true , but can Everything put out a warning if an attempt to add a drive or folder which has been indexed earlier or automatically is made. In fact presently I can add the same drive or folder any number of times.Control on folders that are manually added
Re: Control on folders that are manually added
I would like to allow users to add duplicates, but a warning would be nice.
Everything should also make it clearer which index (local database, filelist, folder index, etp connection etc..) the file / folder belongs to.
Thanks for the suggestions.
