Forum Modification Possible?

Right now when you go into Profile you can view
Total posts

Any chance to have the Show Topics/Threads too?

Most of the time I want to see the topics I posted, or even another user.

It just a much cleaner option to be able to see the Topics instead of the Total Posts.

At the top of every page, 'Quick links' -> 'Your posts'.
Or just bookmark this, search.php?search_id=egosearch

For more details, there are some other options too:


- In the top-right corner of the forum pages is a search bar. Click the cog wheel at the right (or whatever it is called).
- Leave the Search for keywords empty
- Search for author = < the username>, in this example: notnull
- Display results as: = topics
- Press the Search button

(notnull has participated in 2173 topics plus the one you are currently reading)



If you want to find out how many new topics you started:

- In the top-right corner of the forum pages is a search bar. Click the cog wheel at the right (or whatever it is called).
- Leave the Search for keywords empty
- Search for author = < the username>, in this example: notnull
- Change the Search within: setting from Post subjects and message text to First post of topics only
- Display results as: = topics
- Press the Search button

(notnull has started 132 new topics)



BTW: Next to every message someone posted (left or right, depending on forum theme), are user statistics. Among which the number of posts (notnull: 4714). If you click on that number, you will see a list of your/<other member's> posts.

This shows topics with your posts and not topics started by you

Thus there should be also Your topics link made available somewhere
