container-filenames to display only specified filenames ?

Post by anmac1789 »

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding container-filenames. As of now, it only finds and searches all archives if there is ONE match, but what if I wanted to only find those archives for which all specified filenames are contained in a archive file ?

For example search for container-filename:monday.jpg;tuesday.jpg;wednesday.jpg

archive 1.zip -- contains wednesday.jpg
archive 2.rar -- contains tuesday.jpg
archive 3.7z -- contains tuesday.jpg and wednesday.jpg

But let's say I wanted to find only those archives which have tuesday.jpg and wednesday.jpg only ? Therefore, it should only show ... archive 3.7z ? How can I do this ?

Please try subexpressions.

tuesday.jpg and wednesday.jpg:

container-filename:<tuesday.jpg wednesday.jpg>
which is the same as:
container-filename:tuesday.jpg container-filename:wednesday.jpg

tuesday.jpg and wednesday.jpg and NOT monday.jpg

container-filename:<tuesday.jpg wednesday.jpg !monday.jpg>
which is the same as:
container-filename:tuesday.jpg container-filename:wednesday.jpg !container-filename:monday.jpg

I'm not understanding the second part, you said tuesday.jpg and wednesday.jpg and NOT monday.jpg but in the expression you've written container-filename:<tuesday.jpg wednesday.jpg >
