Starting Everything minimized in system tray

Post by poopux »

Hi,

in the previous version 1.3.4 I had Everything started with Win11 and everything would then sit minimized in the sytem tray until called by double clicking.
With 1.4.1 Everything starts in an open Window which I have to close manually. Whenevver started then, a short index run happens.
How can I start 1.4.1 with Win11 and have it sit minimized in the tray as before?

This is what I chose during setup:

- start with windows
- create link in the start menu
- create link in the info area of the taskbar
- register .efu files with everything
- automatically index NTFS disks

Thanks

Please try the -startup command line option.

Please check your startup folder for a shortcut to Everything.

Thanks,

I did deinstall 1.4.1 and re-installe it. Now it does starts hidden in the tray. :-)
Yet, in the startup folder, there is no entry for everything....

Thanks for such e great tool!
