Preselection search field in front of standard search field

I'd find it usefull, if there was a "Preselection search field in front of standard search field" to minimize search time and search results.
The preselection field contains the drive letter where to search and should be selectable from a pull-down menu, like this:

a:
b:
c:
d:
.
.
.
.
all drives

At the moment I haveto write it by hand, e.g. to search only on drive e:, followed with a blank "e: query xyz..."

I would appreciate very much if that worked... Total Commander has this option already implemented.

Filters and Bookmarks can do that.
In your case, I will always have the wrong default.

I have the german GUI, it seems to be slightly different.
I haven't found "Subfolders" by now. In my version "Folders" is under "Search", but not "Subfolders"
However, filters work quite well, so I'll be tinkering with that, it looks quite good...

Guess you don't use Everything 1.5
In this, Folders is under the View menu.

It's stable and much better than 1.4.
A lot of users have it as their primary or only Everything installation.

For a rollback, just save your old Ini and csv files.
Also, you can run both versions in parallel
but I would not suggest that.

I installed now V. 1.5α.
It looks fine, but the german UI is not complete yet.
There is also now the missing FAT formated drive type...
I have tin tinker with it, what else is new...

1. The language updates will come when the Alpha status is changed.
2. Under Indexes, there is a FAT entry to configure it.
