Everything crashing

Everything used to work fine, and i'm not sure what has changed on my system, I know there was a windows update for the .NET thing. Now everytime I right click a file in everything, it crashs saying "Everything.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
and the error signature information says "AppName: everything.exe AppVer: 1.2.1.371 ModName: msvcr90.dll
ModVer: 9.0.30729.1 Offset: 00037259"

this problem does not happen when I right click a folder. How do i fix?

Please replace your Everything.exe with the following unofficial beta to workaround the problem:
http://www.voidtools.com/Everything-1.2.1.375b.zip

Just some feedback -- I had the same problem, and the unofficial beta 1.2.1.375b corrected the situation.
