Hi!
I got to the Exclude dialog box in options, and I did a google search first. I tried adding the dollar sign as a filter, but that didn't work for me.
To exclude the Word temp files, which Usually seem to be preceded by a dollar sign, what should I do?
For files like this:
Sincerely,
Captee

What do you think is happening?

What is shown under Tools -> Options -> Exclude?
Re: Excluding word temporary files
Remove ~$* from Exclude folders and add it to Excludes files at the bottom.

Kaaaaaa...BOOM!
In hooded sackcloth robes, a line of pious scribes march through the shire village chanting:
"We are not worthy! We are not worthy!"
While simultaneously slapping a 10-page PDF file against their foreheads! : )))))))))))))))))))))
Thanks, Dr. V!
