Files not getting indexed

Everything used to reliably index all my files. Now some files are missing. I don't know when this started.

Using Everything 1.5.0.1373a.x64

There are files I can see using Windows Explorer, but if I search for them in Everything they don't show up. The files have been present overnight, so Everything should have had enough time to see them.

Where should I start looking for this? Other files on the same drive are indexed, so the drive is enabled for indexing.

Please make sure no search options are checked under the Search menu (eg: uncheck match case, uncheck match whole words, uncheck regex)

Please make sure the Everything filter is active under the Search menu.

Please make sure these files are not excluded from Tools -> Options -> Exclude.



Please try forcing a rebuild:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Click Force Rebuild.
• Click OK.

I somehow got case matching enabled. Disabling it showed me all the expected results.
