Inquiry about PSD File Preview and Potential Display Speed Optimization

Post by 412100 »

Dear Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the current status and capabilities of your system with regards to the preview of PSD files.

Firstly, I would like to know if your software or platform currently supports the preview of Adobe Photoshop (PSD) format files. This functionality is crucial for our team as we frequently need to review and assess design files in this format.

If your system does support PSD previews, I would also be interested in understanding if there are any plans or recommendations to optimize the display speed of these files. We have noticed that in some cases, the preview loading time can be quite lengthy, which can hinder our workflow.

Any information you can provide on these matters would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, if there are any known limitations or workarounds that we can implement to improve the experience, please let us know.

Thank you for considering our request. We are looking forward to your prompt response.

Best regards,

Everything uses the system to render previews.

Third party PSD preview handlers can be installed.

Everything should have the same preview as you see in Windows Explorer.

Please make sure you are using the x64 version of Everything.

Please make sure Everything is not running as administrator:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the General tab on the left.
  • Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything.
  • Uncheck Run as administrator.
  • Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
  • Click OK.
  • Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
  • Restart Everything.
