Everything.ini does NOT contain all. my previous settings; NO Backup

According to recommendations in this forum I saved occasionally Everything.ini file from Everything installation folder.

Now after a long time I crashed my Win10 system.

Unfortunately after start of Everything I had to recognize that all previous settings were lost.
But I have backups!

So I copied the everything.ini file from last week into Everything folder and restarted it.

But that didn't help. All my previous settings are still lost.
Bad, very very very bad!!!

What sense does it make to copy the *.ini file when it does not help?
I am really annoyed
The first time in 3 years that I had a crash and Everything fails to recover its last setup

Exit Everything before copying your Everything.ini

In Everything, from the File menu, click Exit.

The Everything.ini contains all your settings.
What settings are missing?

There are separate Filters.csv, bookmarks.csv, Run history.csv and Search History.csv

I recommend backing up your entire %APPDATA%\Everything folder.

This just happened to me as well!!

Knowing all of the filters & stuff I spent so much time creating are gone makes me want to cry.

Please, Voidtools, make it more noticeable that saving & "backing up" your file doesn't mean it backs up EVERYTHING!

I don't want this to happen to anyone else!
