I like to start Everything and have it lurk in the system tray, but not open a search window. I tried unchecking the 'Create a new window when running Everything' option, which seems to suggest it should do what I want. But every time I log in and Everything launches, it still opens a window...
Did I misunderstand the meaning of that option? Is there some other way to have Everything start 'silently'? The previous version behaved as I describe, so I presume it's a new version thing...
Also, really really nice to see a new version!
Many thanks,
David.

If you don't use the option...Tools=>Option=>General=>Everything on system startup
you have to add the -startup command line to your shortcut
