To prevent Everything from removing locked bitlocker drives from your index, please try disabling "automatically remove offline volumes":
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab on the left.
- Uncheck Automatically remove offline volumes.
- Click OK.
Everything will now keep your bitlocker drive in your index.
Everything will monitor your bitlocker drive for changes when it is unlocked.
It can take Everything 30 seconds to detect a drive as unlocked.
Everything 1.5 does not automatically remove fixed volumes by default.
To include a bitlocker drive in your index:
- Unlock your bitlocker drive.
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab on the left.
- Uncheck Automatically remove offline volumes.
- Select your bitlocker drive (for example E:)
- Check Include in database.
- Click OK.
