Running Everything Version 1.4.1.935 (x64) on Windows 7

For every search I make, I get for every file/map TWO lines in the mirror.
Reinstall, re-start and re-scan does not helps.
What is wrong in my settings???

I tryed the two links, both do not work for me.

Maybe re-indexing will help? (after I connect all my remote disk's and USB sticks).

Are all your search results doubled? Or just in a couple of folders/on a couple of disks?
Can you give an example (or screenshot)?

NTFS volumes are automatically indexed by "Everything".

Adding a NTFS volume as a folder index will show duplicated results.

Please remove any NTFS volumes from your folder indexes:
  • In "Everything", from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Folders tab.
  • Select any NTFS volumes and click Remove.
  • Click OK.

If that doesn't help, please try forcing a rebuild:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Indexes tab on the left.
  • Click Force Rebuild.
  • Click OK.

Please let us know if the issue persists.

I gave already a screenshot. As you can see, double results for files and folders.
Forgotten to mention .... it's ONLY relevant for my internal HHD's. Remote HDD's, SD card's and USB stick's give singel results for folders and files.

SOLVED
(thanks to Void BTW I changed your prefabricated text a little)
This feels a bit scary to do, but afterwards you will continue to see (SINGLE) results of the NTFS disks that you are about to remove.

In "Everything", go to the Tools menu, click Options. Click under Indexes on Folders.
Select any NTFS volumes (most likely only C and D) and click Remove. Click OK.

Made a picture for you to download, so you know it (in a second using Everything) for the future. LOL

!!! I also donated $ 50 to David for his good work and quick responces on this forum !!!
