Hey! I'm using Version 1.2.371 on Windows XP SP3, and noticed a problem with excluding hidden files and folders. If you check the box for excluding hidden files/folders and at the same time include a folder that is within a hidden folder, the specified inclusion will not be included...
Setup:
Exclude hidden files and folders - Checked
Include: "C:\Documents and Settings\love\Application Data\X Chat 2"
Note: "Application Data" is a hidden folder, not necessarly a "System hidden" in my case
Expected Result:
Files/folders within "X Chat 2" should be included in the search results
Current Result:
Files/folders or even the folder "X Chat 2" itself is not listed in the search results...
if I wasn't clear on anything feel free to request more feedback from me... Love your app
excluding hidden files supersede rules for including folders
Re: excluding hidden files supersede rules for including fol
I can confirm your findings.
Can only assume like you say, excluding hidden supersedes, so the Include in this case is ignored.
