HDD not recognized (showing blank)

Hi

I am using Everything. One of my new USB external Hard Disks of 2TB, when searched using Everything, shows no files (blank), though it has data. At the same time, my other 2TB external drive does not have any such issues.

Please help.

Please make sure this drive is not excluded under Tools -> Options -> Exclude.


Please make sure this drive is included in your index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the NTFS tab on the left.
• Select your drive.
• Check Include in database.
• Click OK.

If your drive is not listed above, please add your drive as a folder index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab.
• Click Add....
• Select your drive and click OK.
• Click OK.

Please check your drive for errors:

• Please backup anything important on your drive before checking it for errors.
• In Windows Explorer, right click your drive and click Properties.
• Click the Tools tab.
• Click Check now...
• Click Start
• If prompted to schedule a scan on the next restart, click Yes.

Please let me know if the issue persists.
