Position selection/indicator of the scrollbar analogue to CTRL+POS1

Post by tuska »

Hi,

I would like to do the following when I start Everything,
change a filter or call up another bookmark [via shortcut],
then the scrollbar should be positioned at the top of the search result -> CTRL+POS1.

Options... > Keyboard > Result List | Focus Start of List > CTRL+POS1 (Result List).

Examples
  1. Everything is started (I have only included this point for the sake of completeness...)
    1. Everything Options - 1.5.0.1365a (x64) > Home > Search... is called up
    2. The cursor is located in the search bar of Everything
    3. The scroll bar is at the top --> CTRL+POS1: OK!
Keyboard > Result List | Focus Start of List > CTRL+POS1 (Result List)
My standard view after calling Everything has been created!
  2. Perform Everything search query
    1. Search for, e.g. D:\Daten\WINWORD\
    2. The search result must have more than one screen page(!)
  3. Position the cursor in the search result
    1. Drag the scroll bar down (more than half of the screen)
    2. Click on a folder or a file in the search result
  4. Change the view
    1. Change filter
      • The content of the search bar is retained - OK!
      • The scroll bar remains at the bottom and NOT in position "CTRL+POS1".
        - or -
    2. Call up bookmarks via shortcut
      • The content of the search bar is deleted - OK!
      • The scroll bar remains at the bottom and NOT in position "CTRL+POS1".
    EDIT: Subject adjusted.

It is the position selection/indicator of the scrollbar (point 1. and 2.).

If the cursor marks a file that is, for example, on the second screen page in the search results list (point 2.)
and you then press CTRL+POS1, the selection is moved to the top of the scroll bar (point 1.) --> OK!

However, the position indicator of the scroll bar is NOT positioned right at the top if, in the same constellation,
I press e.g. ALT+Y and call up my bookmark. In this case, only the search query is deleted and the cursor is positioned
in the search box. The position indicator remains in the same position.

My aim is to restore my standard view after pressing the shortcut ALT+Y (bookmark), for example, as shown under point 1.
At present, this is often not possible, or not possible in all cases.
