Everything scans it, all is good, it can be searched
Then drive is turned off, Everything removes it obviously
Drive is turned back on, can't be searched anymore since Everything stopped monitoring it
This obviously works as intended but isn't very friendly as each time you plug the drive, you have to manually include it in the database again and again, pretty annoying.
I tried to play a bit with the settings but I would say the results are even worse:
Deselect 'Automatically remove offline volumes'
Now that works except that when the external drive is off, search results still show up...
What I'm looking for:
Everything figures it out on its own
if drive is off then don't show results about it
when it's back on, Everything scans it automatically and shows results on it
i.e. plug and play behavior
Maybe there's already a combination of settings that would allow such behavior but I couldn't figure it out.
