Frequently rescanning metadata

Post by dldc114 »

Is it possible to modify the database information manually? Scanning metadata repeatedly is too slow, or can metadata be saved to a file?

The metadata storage method can be optimized by utilizing a combination of filename and file size, enabling faster data matching. If a file is modified, there is a high likelihood that the change will be detected and the metadata will be updated accordingly. If the file is particularly large or if a user desires to rescan, they can simply delete the cached data.
